A team of agents of the National Police of Peru (PNP) captured on Tuesday a Peruvian leader of the terrorist group Islamic State, also known as ISIS and was transferred to the headquarters of the Counter-Terrorism Directorate (Dircote).
The detainee was identified as Brian Eugenio Alvarado Huari (23) and, according to information from Israel Noticias, the police found photos and explosive equipment in his house in Peru.
“Representatives of the Public Ministry and agents of the Explosives Deactivation Unit (UDEX) also arrived at the site”, the aforementioned website said, adding that investigations will continue to ensure that he is in fact part of ISIS.
